YOU help make Boston Latin School EXCEPTIONAL through the BLSA



As a private, nonprofit organization 501(c)3, the BLSA supports the vision of the Latin School administration and the educational journey of current students thanks to private philanthropy from alumni, faculty/staff, families of students and of alumni, in addition to friends of America's first public school.

Donor funding impacts every single student positively through a breadth of programs and opportunities, including:
  • 9+ Key Roles: including Leven Director of Athletics, Director of Schawbel College Resource Center, Viterbi Director of Technology, Special Assistant to Head of School, Director of McCarthy Institute for Transition & Support
  • Athletics: 35 varsity and sub-varsity coaches, transportation, athletic equipment, and uniforms; upgraded Roche Gymnasium
  • Arts: after-school arts instructors, musical instruments, music licensing, theater set design, travel to music competitions
  • Technology: Chromebooks, projectors, computers, video cameras, microphones, 3D printer
  • Fellowships: Ward (Public Service), Miller (Washington, D.C. Public Service/College Undergrads), Babbitt (Public Service),
    Topol (Peace/Non-Violence), Seevak (Human Rights), and Deitch (Leadership)
