In February, Colonel Christopher Shaw '89 - U.S. Naval Academy (B.S. political science), BC Law (JD), University of San Diego Law ( LLM, international law) -  was presented with a Boston City Council Official Resolution offered by Councilor Brian Worrell, as "a distinguished Marine veteran with 28 years of service, who has exemplified leadership and dedication throughout his career, from serving as legal advisor to the secretary of the Navy to overseeing a 27,000-person Marine unit in Japan."
