Help BLS Students Thrive: Alumni Volunteer Tutors Needed
The McCarthy Institute is seeking alumni support for two programs:
The Wolfpack After School program will run Mondays-Thursdays from 2:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. The first hour of the program is enrichment, and then our students spend the time from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in the Keefe Library for academics.
We are seeking volunteers either for enrichment time or academic support. Volunteers supporting academic time would sit with a small group of students in Class IV or V.
Additionally, we are seeking volunteers for Saturday Success School, our virtual online tutoring program. Students log-in to work with volunteer tutors from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. for 20 Saturdays during the academic year.
